How do credits work?

Credits are purchased through the App Store. Each project analysis, quick estimate, cost estimate, or job review consumes one credit. Your first project analysis, first estimate, and first job review are free. Credits are non-refundable - Apple handles all App Store refunds.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data, projects, and uploaded photos. If you can't access the app, email support@diyderek.net.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Open Settings in the app and tap "Export My Data". This downloads a JSON file containing your account information, projects, analyses, toolbox inventory, measurements, estimates, and reviews.

Does AI training use my photos?

No. Photos, project context, relevant toolbox status, and relevant measurements are processed through our AI processing provider only to generate your result, and your data is not used for model training. Saved photos stay with their project, estimate, or review until you delete them. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is the AI advice safe to follow?

DIYDerek provides AI-generated guidance for informational purposes only. Estimates are indicative, not final quotes, and final pricing requires an on-site check. Always consult qualified professionals for electrical, plumbing, structural, or gas work. See our Terms of Service.
