How do credits work?

Credits are purchased through the App Store. Each project analysis, cost estimate, quick estimate, or job review consumes one credit. Your first project analysis and first cost estimate are free. Credits are non-refundable — Apple handles all App Store refunds.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data, projects, and uploaded photos. If you can't access the app, email support@diyderek.net.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Open Settings in the app and tap "Export My Data". This downloads a JSON file containing all your account information, projects, analyses, estimates, and reviews.

Does AI training use my photos?

No. Photos are processed by Google Gemini's paid API, which does not use your data for model training. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is the AI advice safe to follow?

DIYDerek provides AI-generated guidance for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for electrical, plumbing, structural, or gas work. See our Terms of Service.
